One of the luxury camps at Burning Man was ransacked by vandals on Wednesday night, according to a post from camp’s organizers on their Facebook page.

The organizers of White Ocean, a self-described “art and sound camp,” took to their social media page to describe the damage done to their site.

“A band of hooligans raided our camp, stole from us, pulled and sliced all of our electrical lines leaving us with no refrigeration and wasting our food and, glued our trailer doors shut, vandalized most of our camping infrastructure, dumped 200 gallons of potable water flooding our camp,” they wrote in a post detailing the situation.

According to the New York Daily News, alleged destruction took place while the camp was hosting their “white party,” where attendees are encouraged to wear white.

The White Ocean camp leaders complained that they were being targeted at the festival that is held annually in the Nevada desert.

“We have felt like we’ve been sabotaged from every angle, but last night’s chain of events, while we were all out enjoying our beautiful home, was an absolute and definitive confirmation that some feel we are not deserving of Burning Man,” the organizers said on Facebook.

White Ocean is considered a “plug-and-play camp” where attendees enjoy more luxurious accommodations than the standard festival goers. Instead of sleeping in tents or RVs, bringing their own supplies and relying on others in the community for things needed during the eight-day event, White Ocean members often have staff to cook for them and stay in motor homes. The camp was founded in 2013 by two New York City finance entrepreneurs, Timur Sadarov and Oliver Ripley.

Police were notified of the vandalism, according to the organizers.

“We came here to unite people through music and love. We came here to inspire and we came here to live and let live,” White Ocean wrote on Facebook.

“Please join us at our White Ocean stage and help us celebrate life through music. In doing so together, we can make these foolish acts of hate as minuscule as a particle of dust on our beloved playa.”

Organizers for White Ocean did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Celebrities including Katy Perry, Cara Delevingne and Paris Hilton have been spotted at Burning Man this year. The festival ends Monday.
