Ike and Tina Turner’s Groovy ’70s-Era House Is for Sale. Hello guys, now on 4 top dotcom will share to you recent news of Ike and Tina Turner’s Groovy ’70s-Era House Is for Sale, Please read below

Los Angeles is full of pricey real estate with state-of-the-art features, but the home that singer Tina Turner and her late ex-husband, Ike, once shared is not one of them. The home in the View Park section of the city offers precisely the opposite: a distinctly 70s-era vibe.

A hefty, $999,000 price tag is still there — after all, this is L.A. — but there are no hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, or high ceilings. There is, however, a mirrored one! The people who bought the home from the Turners in 1977 told real estate website Curbed L.A. that it looks much as it did when they took it over. In fact, the 1993 movie about Tina’s career and her abusive marriage with Ike, What’s Love Got to Do With It, includes scenes filmed on location in the house.

Zillow reports that the four-bedroom, four-bathroom abode, built in 1956, features plenty of details that Turner fans will notice. For instance, the front door handles have been sculpted into Buddhist hand gestures, probably in a nod to Tina’s spiritual interests.

The inside of the 3,000-square-foot house features a kitchen reminiscent of The Brady Bunch, some groovy curtains and wallpaper, as well as an indoor waterfall. The master bedroom is the main event, though, with a round bed elevated on red carpet under — get this — multicolored lighting.

Outside, there’s a pool, patio, and a two-car garage. All of that’s nice, but it would certainly be considered shabby next to the homes Tina later purchased in France and Switzerland, after her 1978 divorce from Ike, and after her phenomenal mainstream success in the ’80s and ’90s. We’re guessing none of them have velvet chair covers.
