The actress opened up to ET at the premiere about her changing body and maternity fitness routine as she enters her final trimester.
“I thought it was an automatic thing, you just lost control of your body, like, the pregnancy just took over,” she said with a laugh. “That didn’t happen.”
“I was like, well, I’m not going to be running, that seems rude,” Christensen continued. “So, [I’m] keeping [fit by doing] elliptical and walking. I just felt like continuing my lifestyle.”

The actress stars in Confirmation as Anita Hill’s friend, Shirley Weigland, and could not stop gushing about co-star Kerry Washington, who plays Hill in the upcoming HBO movie about the infamous Clarence Thomas Supreme Court confirmation hearings.
“She’s brilliant,” Christensen said of Washington. “Obviously she cared so much about this movie. She produced it and she knows Anita and really wanted to do her justice, which is a huge amount of respect and responsibility to behold….It’s so awesome.”
Also impressive is the timing of the film, which comes not only in a highly-politicized election year, but also as President Obama is working to confirm a Supreme Court nominee to replace the late Antonin Scalia.
“We’ve been saying over the past month or whatever it’s been, like, could we have planned this? How did this happen?” Christensen marveled. “It’s really interesting how everything has come together. It’s interesting, too, the wave of feminism that’s been happening. It’s very cool.”
